EconoFlip ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect and use information when you visit our website.
Analytics
When you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymous usage data including: pages visited, time spent on pages, interactions with deal listings, and general traffic sources. We do not send any product pricing or personal financial data to Google.
Cookies
We use two types of cookies: (1) an analytics consent cookie (analytics_consent) that remembers your choice for 12 months, and (2) Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*) that measure site traffic, only set if you accept analytics.
Your Rights
Under Quebec's Law 25 and PIPEDA, you have the right to: withdraw your consent at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer, request information about the data we hold, and request deletion of your data.
Withdrawing Consent
You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking "Cookie Settings" in the footer. This will re-display the consent banner so you can update your choice.
Third-Party Services
Google Analytics: Google's privacy policy applies to data collected through their service. We have configured GA4 to not collect advertising data. SMTP2GO: when you enable email alerts, we use SMTP2GO to deliver those emails and share the recipient email address plus the message content/metadata needed for delivery. SMTP2GO is not used to set browser cookies on EconoFlip.
